June 28th -30th

RIJS, GAASTERLAND (Netherlands) "International Maritime Folk Festival TEATERTŰN".
On the weekend of June 28th, 29th and 30th, this Festival takes place at a unique location, the Teatertűn in the Rijsterbos.
The Teatertűn have 8000m˛ gardens with a wonderful Open Air Theatre at its midpoint.
This weekend has been chosen because the gardens will be at their best with the longer summer evenings.
On Friday evening June 28th there will be a dinner at “Hotel Jans,“ located in the Rijsterbos. Various groups will perform during this dinner.
On Saturday June 29th, there will be an extensive Nautical market from 12.00 hrs. till 18.00 hrs.
From 13.00 hrs. at 3 locations there are performances in the Teatertűn.
In the evening, all of the groups will perform in the Open Air Theatre (covered when the weather is bad)
On Sunday June 30th, from 11.00 hrs. till 13.30 hrs, the foreign groups will give a coffee concert in the Teatertűn.
Artistes will include Dutch Courage, Nanne en Ankie, Onstuimig Schuim and Reizger from the Netherlands, Les Males de Mer from Luxemburg and Shanty Jack, Yesterday's Men and Trim Rig & a Doxy from England
